Mattie Whitesell

I'm currently working as a biologist and endangered species observer while living on board relocation trawlers and hopper dredges. I enjoy working as a field biologist and am broadly interested in ocean and coastal conservation, marine ecology, anthropogenic effects, and invasive species. My thesis project aimed to analyze which environmental factors most affect the hatch success rate in loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta) nests.
